Meet the Owner of Shear Creativity Meledee is a Licensed Cosmetologist in the state of California. The Los Angeles native currently services client in the Bakersfield, Ca area.   At the age of 11, Meledee has always known that doing hair was her passion.  From doing her friends hair in middle school & high school, she knew she loved being creative and adding more confidence to each person that sat in her chair. Meledee's first job at the age of 14 years old was at a local LA beauty supply and that ignited the spark to continue the pursuit of becoming the stylist she is today.  

 

In 2010 she enrolled in Cosmetology School at Milan Institute.  She graduated in April 2012, passed CA state board and hasn't looked back since. Meledee continued to pursuit her dream while growing her clientele by taking on clients while also working part time and raising a family.  In 2015 she invested in her self by acquiring a salon suite before salon suites were a thing. Nonetheless Meledee treats all her clients like the celebrities they are because they're all celebrities to her.  

 

Presently, Meledee has been professionally doing hair for well over 10 years while creating wigs for 6 years. She specializes in hair cutting techniques and hair extension installations.  She takes excellent pride in her creativity by making her clients look timeless, trendy, feel absolutely beautiful with the styles she creates and her custom machine made wigs. From the everyday working women to the gorgeous bride, it is Meledee’s goal to provide an excellent customer experience.
